CONSORT WELCOMES MUNICIPAL INTERN

 The Village of Consort welcomes Quinton Flint into our community. Quinton Flint is our new Municipal Intern for the Village of Consort. Born in South Africa, Pietermaritzburg, moved to Canada in 1994 and lived in Aldergrove B.C. as a child and moved High River Alberta during his teenage years, where graduated from Notre Dame Collegiate. After graduation he worked in the construction industry building skyscrapers some project are; The Zit`s skyscraper in downtown Vancouver, and the Olympic Village in Whistler B.C. for the 2008 Olympics.  Another field he has worked in is water management. Where he worked at Canadian Dewatering as a field tech. Major projects being the High River Flood and Calgary flood. Quinton comes to us from the University of Lethbridge, where he has recently just graduated from his studies in Urban and Regional Planning, minoring in Political Science. Prior to going to The University of Lethbridge, he also studied at St. Mary`s University in Halifax Nova Scotia. Where he studied Psychology and Political science, before transferring to the University of Lethbridge.  He looks forward to meeting the members of the community and building a lifelong career in municipal administration and urban development.
